Can you keep your cool when things get heated? We're looking for a confident and resilient Behaviour Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary PRU in Ferryhill. The pupils in this setting need adults who are consistent, calm, and capable of managing challenging behaviour positively and professionally.
Your day might include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Managing challenging behaviours
- Encouraging engagement with learning
- Helping pupils develop social and emotional skills
- Being a positive role model
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a PRU, SEND school, youth work, care, coaching, or support work
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong behaviour management strategies
- Plenty of patience and resilience
