Protocol Education are looking for a confident, experienced SEMH / SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis across primary schools in Bath, Keynsham and Bristol. This is a full-time role for someone who knows how to build trust, create consistency and make a real difference to a child’s day. You’ll be supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and a range of additional needs, helping them regulate emotions, navigate challenges and feel ready to engage with learning. This isn’t just about support, it’s about connection, resilience and knowing how to respond in the moment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing consistent, high-quality 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs
- Using strong behaviour strategies to support regulation and positive engagement
- Adapting learning in real time to meet individual needs
- Building meaningful relationships that help pupils feel safe and understood
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a joined-up approach
