We’re working closely with lovely nurseries and primary schools across BA1 and BA2 who are looking for caring, dependable and flexible Early Years support staff to join their teams.
If you’re someone who lights up when a child finally zips their own coat or proudly counts to ten, you’ll feel right at home here. Whether you’re a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner or Learning Support pro, these roles are all about those magical first steps in education. You’ll be supporting little learners in EYFS and early Key Stage 1, working one to one or in small groups. Your days will be full of play, exploration and those “look what I can do” moments. From helping children settle into routines, to encouraging early communication, phonics and number skills, you’ll play a big part in building their confidence and curiosity. And yes, there will be paint, glitter and plenty of storytelling along the way.

A bit about you:
- Comfortable supporting children aged 2 to 5, with some KS1 exposure
- Calm, patient and naturally nurturing
- Great at building trust with young children and reassuring families
- Happy to dive into play, routines and care-based tasks
- An understanding of individual needs, including SEND
- Passport
- Two proofs of address, for example driving licence, utility bill or council tax letter
- A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained
- Two years of references, including childcare or youth work where relevant
- Overseas police check if you’ve lived abroad for three months or more in the last five years
