Salary: £83.85 - £110 per day
Responsibilities
- Providing support to students with medical needs within an educational setting
- Administering medication and assisting with medical procedures as required
- Monitoring and documenting students' health conditions and reporting to the appropriate staff
- Collaborating with teachers and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of students
- Supporting students with personal care needs and promoting independence
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- Valid First Aid and Manual Handling certifications
- Enhanced DBS clearance (you can apply for a new one with us if you don’t have this)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare or educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of common medical conditions in children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs
