Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Abbots Langley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and wants to play an important role in supporting pupils throughout their primary education.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to provide high-quality support to pupils and help create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils in the classroom and during learning activities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Helping children stay focused, engaged and motivated
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
- Creating positive relationships with pupils and staff
