1:1 Secondary Teaching Assistant – SEN Support

Location: Stroud

Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE)

Contract: Full-time, Contract or Long Term

Start Date: Immediate

You’re the steady hand every classroom needs. We’re looking for calm, caring, and confident Secondary Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs. If you’ve got experience working with young people who need a bit of extra encouragement to thrive, this could be your perfect role.

You’ll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to:

  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, or mental health challenges
  • Help students access the curriculum and develop independence
  • Create a safe, structured, and positive learning space
  • Build trust and celebrate small wins every day
