We're working with schools across Bristol on the lookout for an experienced 1:1 SEN Support to welcome into their schools. Are you caring, patient, and proactive? Then this could be the perfect role for you!
As a SEN Support worker no two days are the same, but every day matters.
What you'll be doing:- Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils
- Helping children stay focused during lessons
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- A calm, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Ongoing support from a consultant who genuinely cares
- Free CPD and online training opportunities
