We are seeking enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work within welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across Lambeth. With both daily supply and long-term opportunities available, this role offers flexibility while providing the chance to make a meaningful impact on a child's educational journey.

The Role

  • Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils requiring additional assistance.
  • Help children access the curriculum and engage positively in lessons.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and resilience in learning.
  • Adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Have experience working with children or young people.
  • Are patient, nurturing, and adaptable.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential.
  • Have experience supporting children with SEND, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs (desirable but not essential).
