Protocol Education is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated class teacher to join an exceptional school in BS14 on a full-time basis after the Easter holidays, teaching across Upper KS2 with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. The Role: You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across the upper KS2 curriculum, creating a calm, purposeful classroom where pupils feel challenged, supported and ready to succeed. You’ll assess progress, use data to inform next steps and adapt learning to meet a range of needs, including pupils requiring additional support or greater challenge. Clear routines, strong behaviour management and high expectations will be central to the role. You’ll work closely with colleagues to support pupils academically and emotionally, particularly as they prepare for SATs and the transition to secondary school. A bit about you:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in upper KS2, ideally Year 5
- Confident planning and delivering the primary curriculum

- Two years of references, including education references
- OSPC if you have lived overseas for three months or more in the last five years
