A welcoming 3-form entry school in North Bristol is looking for a warm, organised, and experienced KS1 teacher to step into a Year 2 maternity cover this autumn term. You’ll be picking up full classroom duties, planning, teaching, marking, and parent communication, with the support of parallel teachers who know the ropes and share the load.

What’s on your plate:

  • Leading a lovely Year 2 class full-time
  • Working closely with two other Year 2 teachers to plan and share ideas
  • Delivering the curriculum with care, creativity, and consistency
  • Monitoring progress and preparing pupils for the jump to KS2
  • Contributing to school life, including holding a parents' evening if needed
