Are you passionate about inspiring young people through music and helping them discover their creative potential? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teachers to work within secondary schools across Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, and music specialists looking to make a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role

As a Music Teacher, you will play a key role in developing students' musical knowledge, performance skills and confidence, encouraging creativity and a lifelong appreciation for music. Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Encouraging students to develop their performance, composition and listening skills
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
  • Supporting students to achieve their full potential through practical and creative learning
  • Contributing to concerts, performances, choirs and extracurricular music activities where appropriate
  • Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A professional, proactive and flexible approach
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student success
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply
