SEMH Teaching Assistant

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in the classroom and around the school
- Building positive relationships that help children feel safe, valued and ready to learn
- Using positive behaviour strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to help every pupil succeed
- Celebrating the small wins, because they often become the biggest breakthroughs
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience withSEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour(school or alternative settings)
- Calm and patience, even in high-pressure situations
- Aility to build strong, positive relationships with pupils
- Resilience, empathy, and agenuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
