The predicted salary is between 1300 - 1600 £ per month.
We are looking for an experienced School HR Officer to join our team on a part‐time basis, working three days a week. There is flexibility around which days those are, we are open to what works best.
What you will be doing:
- This is a hands‐on role with a strong focus on employee relations and compliance.
- You will be a trusted point of contact for staff and leadership, keeping things fair, clear and well‐managed.
- Managing employee relations cases, including grievances, sickness absence and disciplinary processes.
- Supporting recruitment activity across the school.
- Ensuring HR policies are followed and kept up to date.
- Overseeing visa sponsorship and right to work compliance.
- Managing and supporting the appraisal cycle.
- Assisting with wider HR duties during quieter periods.
What we are looking for:
- This role goes beyond admin. You will need solid HR experience, ideally within a school or similar setting, and be confident handling complex cases independently.
- Experience above HR Administrator or HR Assistant level.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practice.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and staff.
- A calm, professional and practical approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
