We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and proactive Caretaker to join our friendly school community in Bushey from September 2026. This is an important role within the school, ensuring that our premises are safe, secure, clean and well‑maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.
The Role
- Opening and securing the school site each day.
- Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and general handyman duties.
- Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe and presentable.
- Undertaking health and safety checks and maintaining records.
- Supporting contractors and monitoring work carried out on site.
- Setting up rooms and equipment for assemblies, events and meetings.
- Managing deliveries and site security.
- Assisting with emergency call‑outs where required.
- Supporting the school in maintaining a welcoming environment for all.
