Are you a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity this September? A friendly primary school in Walton-on-Thames (KT12) is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. You’ll be joining a school that places children’s wellbeing and academic progress at the centre of everything they do, working alongside experienced teachers to help every pupil succeed.

The Role

  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Location: Walton-on-Thames, Surrey (KT12)

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous classroom or childcare experience
  • Is enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning
  • Can work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Has excellent behaviour management skills
  • Is patient, adaptable, and reliable
  • Can confidently support children across KS1 or KS2
  • Has SEN experience or experience supporting pupils with additional needs, which would be a great bonus
  • Has a child-centred approach to learning

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Support teaching and learning across the classroom
  • Work with individual pupils and small intervention groups
  • Encourage confidence and independence
  • Support children with varying learning needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Help maintain an engaging learning environment
