SEN Teacher Opportunity | September 2026 | Walton-on-Thames

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Walton-on-Thames is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their supportive team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing school that places inclusion, wellbeing, and high-quality teaching at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

  • Position: SEN Teacher
  • Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Location: Walton-on-Thames, Surrey

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEND within either mainstream or specialist settings
  • Has excellent knowledge of Autism, ADHD, SEMH and a range of additional learning needs
  • Can create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued
  • Plans and delivers engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Is confident implementing EHCP targets and working closely with support staff and external professionals
  • Demonstrates excellent behaviour management and uses positive, restorative approaches
  • Builds strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and outside agencies
  • Is committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential academically, socially and emotionally
