SEND Support Assistant – Wallsend (Full-Time)

A welcoming primary school in Wallsend is seeking a SEND Support Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs including Autism, ADHD and speech and language difficulties.
You'll work closely with the school's SEND team to provide the consistency and encouragement pupils need to thrive.
Location: Wallsend
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing
- Supporting SEND pupils in lessons
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Encouraging communication and social skills
- Supporting emotional wellbeing
- Helping pupils engage with learning
- Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
