Could you be the positive role model that helps a young person re-engage with education? A specialist SEMH provision in Wallsend is seeking a dedicated SEMH Learning Mentor to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support throughout the school day. The role focuses on building positive relationships, promoting resilience and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Location: Wallsend

Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day

Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
  • Building trust and positive relationships
  • Encouraging appropriate social interactions
  • Supporting emotional regulation strategies
  • Delivering mentoring and intervention sessions
  • Promoting engagement within lessons

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
