Protocol Education is recruiting a Maths Graduate to support numeracy development in a secondary school in the Wallsend area. This role is ideal for graduates who enjoy problem-solving and want to help students build confidence in Maths. The school has a strong focus on closing learning gaps and supporting pupils who may struggle with numeracy. It is easily reached by public transport from across North Tyneside and Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering targeted numeracy interventions
- Working with students who lack confidence in Maths
- Supporting revision and exam preparation sessions
- Encouraging resilience and positive learning behaviours
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a degree in Maths or a related subject
- Be confident explaining mathematical concepts clearly
- Be patient, encouraging and organised
- Be considering teacher training or an education-based career
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
