We’re working with a welcoming SEND school in Newcastle that’s on the lookout for a compassionate, proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs. You’ll be part of a warm, supportive team that values calm communication, consistency, and creativity. The role involves working 1:1 and in small groups, helping students with autism and moderate learning difficulties reach their full potential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
  • Encouraging independence and confidence in learning
  • Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
  • Helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom

  • Experience in a SEND or mainstream classroom setting
