We’re working with a welcoming school who are looking for a School First Aider to take ownership of the first aid room and provide immediate, effective care to students and staff throughout the school day. This is a full‑time position and an important role within the wider pastoral and safeguarding team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running and managing the school’s first aid room
- Responding promptly to first aid incidents and medical emergencies
- Providing care, reassurance, and clear next steps for students
- Keeping accurate records of first aid treatment and incidents
- Liaising with parents, staff, and external services when required
- Supporting the school’s health, safety, and wellbeing procedures
What we’re looking for:
- A current First Aid qualification (essential)
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
- A calm, confident, and compassionate approach
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy first aid room independently

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
