We’re working with a friendly, well‑run school in Wakefield looking for an Attendance Administrator to join their team on a long‑term basis. It’s a key role at the heart of the school, helping ensure students are where they need to be, every single day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing daily attendance registers, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Following up on absences, making calls and liaising with parents and carers
- Monitoring attendance data and flagging any concerns or patterns
- Supporting the wider pastoral and safeguarding teams with attendance‑related insights
- Maintaining clear, up-to‑date records in line with school policies
- Being a friendly, professional first point of contact for attendance queries
Who this role would suit:
- Someone with strong administration skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Confident using systems and managing data, experience with school MIS systems is a bonus
