Looking to make a real difference, one pupil at a time? We’re working with a welcoming school in Wakefield that’s looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. This is a long-term role supporting pupils with EHCPs on a 1:1 basis, helping them feel confident, supported, and ready to learn. You won’t just be filling a role here, you’ll be a key part of a child’s journey.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs
  • Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them
  • Supporting emotional regulation and building positive routines
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Creating a calm, consistent, and encouraging environment
