Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a truly rewarding role in a supportive Uxbridge primary school? I’m looking for a talented TA with proven experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and non-verbal communication needs. This role is hands-on, meaningful and perfect for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference to a child’s day, every single day.
The Role
- You’ll be working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need consistency, patience and someone who understands how to help them regulate, communicate and access learning.
- Every day is different, but you’ll be part of a team who value SEND support and will welcome your ideas and experience.
What I’m Looking For
- Previous experience supporting SEND pupils in a school setting – essential
- Strong understanding of ASD, ADHD and non-verbal communication strategies
- Calm, nurturing and emotionally intelligent approach
- Someone reliable, proactive and confident supporting challenging needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO
