We are a specialist education recruitment agency working closely with primary and secondary schools across Uxbridge to support pupils who benefit from a nurturing, relationship-led approach to learning. We are currently seeking a passionate Nurture Teaching Assistant who is committed to building strong rapport and improving a child’s school experience through a nurture-based, differentiated curriculum. This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference to children who may find mainstream learning challenging and need consistency, emotional support, and positive role modelling.

The Role

  • Build trusting and positive relationships with pupils who require emotional and behavioural support
  • Support children within a nurture group or targeted setting using a differentiated, nurture-based curriculum
  • Help pupils develop social skills, emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual emotional and developmental needs
  • Provide consistency, reassurance, and positive role modelling throughout the school day
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support individual learning and wellbeing plans

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience supporting pupils with nurture needs, SEMH, trauma, attachment, or early intervention
  • Understands the principles of nurture and the importance of building strong relationships
  • Is patient, empathetic, calm, and emotionally intelligent
  • Can adapt their approach to meet the needs of different learners
  • Has relevant experience or qualifications within education, childcare, youth work, or pastoral support
  • Is reliable, committed, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
