We're working with schools across Bristol who are preparing for the new academic year and they're on the lookout for experienced Teaching Assistants to welcome into their schools. If you enjoy helping children learn, build confidence and succeed, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting children with their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher to bring lessons to life
- Delivering small group sessions
- Confidence in managing behaviour
- Supporting children with additional needs
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a school setting
- Some experience with SEN/behaviour management or an interest in developing your skills
- A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
- A calm, patient, and supportive approach to learning
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one
