We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Thornbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are looking to build a rewarding career supporting children with additional needs.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
• Communication and Interaction needs

You will help create a positive learning environment, support students both in and out of the classroom, and encourage independence and personal development.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who:

• Are patient, caring and resilient
• Have a passion for supporting children and young people
• Have experience working with SEN, care, youth work, coaching, support work or similar backgrounds (desirable but not essential)
• Can build positive relationships with students and staff
• Are committed to promoting the wellbeing and success of every learner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
