Position: Room Leader (Toddlers)
Qualification Required: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, working shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified early years professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and education while leading and supporting a dedicated team. As Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Toddler Room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop. You will lead by example, support your team, and work closely with parents to provide the highest standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the Toddler Room on a daily basis.
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Monitoring children's progress and maintaining accurate observations and assessments.
- Supporting, mentoring, and motivating team members.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety requirements are consistently met.
Requirements
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Has previous experience working within a nursery setting.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
