Protocol Education is working closely with friendly, supportive primary school Trust across Shropshire and Telford to support Freshly Qualified Teachers (FQT/ECT) looking to teach in Upper KS2. This is a great opportunity for an early career teacher who enjoys working with older primary pupils, supporting them as they develop independence, resilience and readiness for secondary school.

The role
- You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Upper KS2 curriculum, including English, maths and foundation subjects, with support from experienced colleagues and teaching assistants.
- You’ll create a calm, purposeful and inclusive classroom where pupils feel challenged, supported and confident to take responsibility for their learning.
- You’ll assess progress, provide clear feedback and adapt learning to meet a range of needs, including SEND, while building strong relationships with pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
- You’ll be joining a welcoming school with a positive staff culture, where professional development and early career support are genuinely prioritised.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), including FQT/ECTs

- OSPC if you’ve lived overseas for three months or more in the last five years
