SEN / SEND Teacher (Maths, English, or Science) needed for a school supporting young people with SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs in Telford. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing. Our mission is to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND and other needs such as SEMH, MLD, and SLD. We are committed to providing holistic, trauma‑informed, and flexible support to disengaged, at‑risk, and vulnerable learners.
Role Overview
This role involves providing subject teaching to young people with special education needs and disabilities, including those with SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other additional educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess subject lessons for students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other additional educational needs.
- Create holistic, engaging, and differentiated sessions that meet students’ individual educational and social‑emotional goals.
Requirements
- Professional teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS).
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes and evidence of safeguarding training.
- Enhanced DBS (ongoing or will be provided at cost if required).
- Two professional references.
- Based in the UK and entitled to work in the UK.
Benefits & Conditions
- Temporary position with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
- Pay includes statutory holiday pay (12.07%).
