What Youll Be Doing

  • Providing one to one support to a pupil during lessons, breaktimes, and transitions throughout the school day.
  • Helping to create a calm, encouraging and safe learning environment where your pupil can flourish.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt learning tasks and ensure the pupils individual needs are met.
  • Using your creativity and emotional intelligence to turn everyday moments into joyful learning experiences.
  • Celebrating every achievement big or small because youll be part of their journey.

Who You Are

  • You have a genuine love for working with children, especially those who need a bit of extra support to unlock their potential.
  • Youre patient, resilient and full of positive energy ready to guide, support and champion your pupil every step of the way.
  • Youre a great communicator who works well with teachers, parents and other staff.
  • Experience in a primary school or supporting SEND is helpful, but what really matters is your attitude, empathy and commitment.
  • (Bonus points if youve worked with children with autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs!)
