Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Dartford, South East England. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom setting. Your main responsibilities will include:

Job Duties:

  • Assisting the teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Supporting students with their learning and development
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience in a teaching assistant or classroom support role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to build rapport with students
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a school setting and may require working during school hours. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and students, providing support and assistance as necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
