The Role: Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a range of Secondary schools providing support for students with additional needs to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education. We have various roles available, so whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, day to day or long term, we can find a role which is the best fit for you.
The schools: Like previously mentioned, you will work with multiple SEND schools across Sheffield with a range of different needs (ASC, PMLD, SEMH, SLD, VI/HI) while following the main aims and ethos’ of the schools. No matter which school you attend, you will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.

As an individual you will be outgoing and confident in your abilities to provide the best outcomes for your students.
You must be adaptable, resilient, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.
Although not essential, training in Moving and Handling and/or Team Teach are highly desired.
