We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join welcoming Early Years settings in Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of children within the EYFS framework.
- Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities.
- Promote children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
- Support children's personal care needs where required.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
