Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic graduates in Psychology, Drama, Dance, or similar fields to work as Teaching Assistants supporting children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) in primary schools. This role is perfect if you’re energetic, creative, and passionate about helping children who need a bit of extra support to thrive in the classroom.
What you’ll do:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Use creative approaches to support the development and engagement of children for learning and emotional regulation
- Help pupils build confidence, focus, and positive relationships
- Work closely with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
What we’re looking for:
- Psychology, Drama, Dance, or related graduates, or candidates with similar experience
- A patient, positive, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
