Overview

We're looking for dedicated SEND Teachers to join a range of specialist schools across Sunderland from September.

You'll support pupils with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, SEMH and additional complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support pupils' personal, emotional and educational development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
