Communication is everything in this role. We’re looking for a Makaton-trained SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with autism and complex learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Use Makaton to support understanding and expression
- Build trust and consistent routines
- Support behaviour and emotional regulation
Ideal candidate:
- Makaton trained or experienced SEN background preferred
- Calm, resilient, and supportive
