Communication is everything in this role. We’re looking for a Makaton-trained SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with autism and complex learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Makaton to support understanding and expression
  • Build trust and consistent routines
  • Support behaviour and emotional regulation

Ideal candidate:

  • Makaton trained or experienced SEN background preferred
  • Calm, resilient, and supportive
