We are seeking an SEMH Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a supportive education environment. This role focuses on helping pupils feel safe, regulated and able to engage positively with learning. You will work alongside teaching and pastoral teams to deliver consistent support and positive behaviour strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in the classroom
- Providing emotional and behaviour support
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting learning engagement and routines
- Helping pupils develop coping strategies
- Building strong, trusting relationships
This role is ideal for someone who:
