We are recruiting a Secondary SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs in a structured secondary setting. This role supports young people who may have struggled in mainstream education and require consistent, understanding support to re‑engage with learning. You will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to provide emotional, behavioural and learning support throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in lessons
- Helping manage behaviour calmly and consistently
- Supporting engagement with learning and routines
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Encouraging emotional regulation and reflection
