Do you use Makaton and want to support students with complex communication needs? We’re working with a specialist SEN school supporting students aged 11–19 with autism and speech & language needs.
Your role:
- Supporting communication using Makaton signs and symbols
- Working closely with students 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting classroom engagement and routines
What we need:
- Makaton experience (formal or informal)
- A patient and understanding approach
- Interest in SEN
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
