A specialist SEND provision is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning difficulties and additional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with communication needs
  • Assisting with personal care where required
  • Supporting sensory activities
  • Working closely with therapists and teachers
  • Maintaining safeguarding standards

Hours

  • Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm

Requirements

  • Experience with SEND preferred
  • Comfortable supporting personal care
  • Full-time commitment
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
