We're looking for a confident and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, including those with ADHD and challenging behaviour. If you're calm under pressure, great at building trust, and know how to turn a tough moment into a positive one, this could be a brilliant role for you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a positive learning space
  • Using behaviour strategies to support pupils with ADHD and challenging behaviour
  • Building strong relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident, and ready to learn

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with SEMH, ADHD, or challenging behaviour
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • SEN qualifications desirable, but not essential
