Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Southend-on-Sea on a full-time basis. This rewarding role involves providing individual support to a pupil, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.
The Role
As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis
- Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom
- Support the child's academic, social, and emotional development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
- Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting is desirable
- A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
