Pay: Β£90–£110 per day

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate SEMH Intervention Assistant to join a specialist education setting supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs. This role focuses on early intervention, emotional regulation and behaviour support for pupils who struggle to engage with learning due to emotional or behavioural barriers. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to deliver consistent, structured support throughout the school day, helping pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering targeted SEMH interventions
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation strategies
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups
  • Supporting learning engagement and routines
  • Monitoring behaviour patterns and triggers
  • Helping pupils develop confidence and resilience

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Holds a Psychology degree or related qualification

  • Is calm, patient and reflective
