We are recruiting for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a school in South Shields. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is confident taking responsibility for supporting lessons, working with small groups and providing targeted intervention.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working as a TA or HLTA
- Be confident supporting whole-class and small-group activities
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be adaptable and confident working with pupils with additional needs
- Work effectively alongside teaching and support staff
A relevant qualification and experience within SEN education would be advantageous. This is a rewarding opportunity to take on greater responsibility within a supportive school environment. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
