Are you an innovative educator who believes that great teaching unlocks opportunity? We are looking for an Experienced SEND Teacher to join a Sunderland specialist provision where pupils with autism and complex needs are supported to achieve their personal best.

You’ll help deliver a curriculum that is meaningful, engaging and designed around personalised goals, working closely with colleagues to remove barriers to learning and build resilience.

  • Teach across secondary and sixth form age ranges.
  • Embed purposeful strategies to support communication, cognition and interaction.
  • Collaborate with support teams and families to ensure consistency in pupil progress.
  • Use data and professional insight to tailor learning and reflect on best practice.

Essential

  • QTS, SEN teaching experience and a child-centred, solution-focused approach.
