We’re working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding special school in South Shields that’s looking for a DT & Art specialist teacher to join their warm, skilled and deeply committed team.

The role
- You’ll be teaching DT and Art across a range of age groups, adapting projects and outcomes to meet individual needs.

- You’ll work closely with support staff and therapists, with the freedom to shape a curriculum that really works for your learners.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent)
- Has experience teaching DT and or Art
- Has SEN experience, or a genuine interest in working in a specialist setting
- Is patient, creative and adaptable
- Believes every pupil deserves to feel capable, valued and proud
