Protocol Education is seeking a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils within a specialist alternative provision setting. The school supports students who may have experienced barriers to education, including SEMH needs, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
- Delivering behaviour intervention strategies
- Promoting positive attitudes towards learning
- Assisting pupils with emotional wellbeing
- Supporting reintegration into education where appropriate
- Liaising with teaching and safeguarding teams
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or care
- Excellent communication skills
- Calm and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
