A friendly and inclusive primary school in Slough (SL1) is seeking an exceptional Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

The Role
Position: KS1 Class Teacher
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Slough (SL1)
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Has excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, including phonics and early reading
Creates a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where children feel supported to achieve their best
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and high expectations for all pupils
Builds strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Take full responsibility for a KS1 class, including planning, preparation, assessment, marking, and parents' evenings
- Deliver engaging lessons that promote excellent progress in reading, writing, and mathematics
- Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged
- Work collaboratively with experienced teachers and supportive senior leaders
- Play a key role in helping children build strong foundations for lifelong learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
