A welcoming SEND school in Sheffield is searching for a compassionate and confident SEN Teacher to join their team this September. This is a role for someone who knows that progress comes in all shapes and sizes, and that the little wins are often the biggest ones. You’ll be working with pupils with a range of additional needs, creating a calm, engaging classroom where every child feels supported, seen, and celebrated. What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and delivering creative, tailored lessons
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Creating a safe and structured learning environment where pupils can thrive
- Working closely with support staff and SEN professionals
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within SEND settings or supporting pupils with additional needs
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- Someone who genuinely enjoys making learning accessible for every child
